Support the Movement through the Power of Giving

 

Our giving is a reminder of the blessings God gives us and gave to us through Jesus Christ." We find in John 3:16 three thoughts that should be the foundation of all our giving. God's motivation for giving was love; he gave himself in the person of Jesus; and God gave in response to our need

 

Acts 20:35. In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: 'It is more blessed to give than to receive. '”

 

2 Corinthians 9:7, Luke 6:36, Deuteronomy 16:17, Malachi 3:8,

 

As a movement not controlled or influenced by outside entities, the giving of your support is critical in spreading the word of and in building the kingdom of God. Giving helps us to do the work of God that is required. There are multiple ways to give to the movement. You may give in person, through monthly membership dues, online or by supporting our community events.

 

(Buddha) once said, “Make what change you are able to make now and let the ‘giving spirit’ spread like a virus, infinitely touching the lives of people you may never meet, across boundaries you may never cross, in ways you may never imagine. That is the power of giving and your ticket to changing the world.” 

 

(Mother Teresa) once said, “At the end of life we will not be judged by how many diplomas we have received, how much money we have made, how many great things we have done. We will be judged by ‘I was hungry and you gave me food to eat, I was naked and you clothed me, I was homeless and you took me in.’ Hungry not only for bread — but hungry for love. Naked not only for clothing — but naked for human dignity and respect. Homeless not only for wanting a room of bricks — but homeless because of rejection.”
